Restored Leather Chair ...

Here we have an example of leather restoration to a lounge chair that held great sentimental value for its owner … something she wanted to pass on to her family.

The leather was generally sound although there was cracking and the colour was wearing through.

Leather restoration involves carefully removing the old leather colour and contamination and then redying the chair back to its original colour using the same products used in the tannery.

The client was delighted and instead of returning the chair to its usual obscure corner of the lounge, she decided to put it in a more prominent position where everyone could see it.

Restored Leather Car Seats ...

Another example we have is a set of vintage leather car seats. These seats were in a bad way and really need to have the leather replaced. But the owner insisted he wanted the seats to maintain their old original look.

The seats were repaired the best we could and then completely refinished them back to their original colour.

The owner was completely overwhelmed with the results … he said the seats came up far better than he had ever anticipated! Good one!
